pink shirts and car wrecks

The shop, pink shirts and car wrecks, makes me happy. And that’s what inspiration should do, right? I’ve been sort of down on myself lately because I am just discouraged feeling like my creativity is going to waste. I have all these ideas and inspiration, yet they are so unclear, therefore I am not doing anything about them. I love blogging and it has opened my eyes to what creativity is about, but at the same time I see all of these artists, shops, designers, and I inevitable wonder where I fit in this big sea of talent. I want to take it to the next level, but I don’t know how. Right now I spend my time in my office day job, while blogging and dreaming when I have time. No more drawing classes that force me to stay diligent. And this cold weather makes it really undesirable to take photographs. I’m praying that this journey takes me somewhere that I’m meant to be, doing things I’m meant to pursue and am passionate about. As always, I appreciate you reading, loves. xoxo

  1. First off, here's to 2011 being a very creative year for you!

Second, that "Yaaay!" banner has just the right amount of enthusiastic A's in it. Love!

  2. I can completely relate to this post. I was thinking about blogging about this, because I felt the same way last year and didn't know how to get "unstuck". It started in the winter but I let it carry through to most of 2010. Then at the start of this year, I was suddenly inspired by another blogger to set creative goals and really go for them. Something just clicked.
I hope that something or someone will give you the inspiration you're looking for! Sending you my virtual support :)

  3. Hey thanks for the shout out! I appreciate it! I, too have struggled with creative slumps. I think it's January's fault. Keep you're chin up – the blog world is a great place of support (and inspiration) :)
