2012 intentions

Happy New Year! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday and break from daily life. I’m excited to resume blogging and get back into the swing of things! Thanks to all for taking my survey; the results have been very helpful!

To start the new year off right, I thought I would write some 2012 intentions. I’m calling them intentions instead of resolutions, because I’m not going to put too much pressure on myself. Maybe I’ll change them in a few months, or maybe I’ll even work on them one at a time. I’m just excited that I wrote them at all!

2012 intentions

Accept the fact that sometimes it feels like life moves slowly, sometimes quickly. Appreciate the moment.
Get rid of useless belongings.
Sweat once a day. Get back in the habit of running.
Try new recipes and plan out meals for the week.
Find balance and improve time management.
Turn ideas and dreams into actions. It’s go time.

And for good measure…

Keep it up! // Note to self after 2011

Keep practicing yoga. That’s so good for you.
You worked really hard on the blog this year. It shows.
Those new grey hairs? Great job resisting to pull them out!
Ideas and dreams are good. This year you formed many, but you also brought them all into closer focus!
You have an incredible and supportive husband. Please don’t forget that.

I tried to keep my list simple and focused. Do you have any intentions for 2012? xoxo

  3. Love it! All awesome intentions! And I would also love to tackle ALL of them too. Well, except the running part. I prefer other forms…but that’s negligible :P

    Happy 2012 to you!

  5. This is just wonderful, and nothing made me smile like your notes to self. Teach me how to stop pulling those suckers out?
