Winter is fast approaching and I’m gearing up. Or rather, I’m just trying to accept it and stay warm. :) I tend to complain about winter while wishing I could be somewhere warmer but this year I’ve decided to stop. I’ve changed my mindset. I’m excited for winter. It’s time to start appreciating what I have…and enjoy it to the fullest…the magical first snow fall, the cozy nights in, thick sweaters, and extra hot tea. It really is a wonderful time to appreciate the simple things and I’ve already got the holiday spirit. (Proof: here on Pinterest)
When it’s cold and snowy, I hibernate. I actually look forward to it. Here are a few items on my winter wish list for getting cozy at home…

What are you most looking forward to about winter?
xoxo

I truly believe every season has it’s own unique beauty. Up until 2 years ago I never lived anywhere that had 4 real seasons so it’s all very exciting to me still. I am not a fan of being cold but I do love the snow and the feeling in the air this time of year, it’s magic!

I used to be the same way. I’m South American, so fall and winter still feel foreign to me but I’ve embraced them! Now, I look forward to the leaves changing and the nip in the air. There’s nothing better than hot chocolate in the winter for me!

It’s easy to look forward to winter when you’ll only experience it voluntarily–but how I miss all the seasons living in SF!
