Today we have a new Dream Job interview (just in time for the holidays!). The interview is with the wonderful Emily Liebl, the woman behind EL Vintage. Once a Midwesterner (she’s originally from Milwaukee, where I live!), she now lives in Los Angeles. Emily is a woman with a big heart, an eye for vintage. and a true passion for what she does. Her personality and energy are infectious and it’s clear that she loves what she does! A big thanks to Emily for taking the time and I hope you enjoy this glimpse into her business, style, and space! xo

Happy Friday! I’m so excited to share a new Dream Job interview! :) I first heard of Antique Taco while at a flea market last year. I just about died when I had their apple grilled cheese and the styling was adorable. Having saved their business card for months, I knew I needed to learn more about the husband and wife duo behind the business! Rick and Ashley Ortiz run Antique Taco in Chicago’s Wicker Park neighborhood and they are seriously inspiring. The menu is fresh and inventive and the styling, decor, and branding is spot on. I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did! A huge thank you to Ashley for answering all of my questions! xoxo

I met Jena online and she has such an interesting background. I love that she first started thinking about taking steps toward her dream job from her corporate cubicle. With patience and hard work, Jena has a wide variety of experiences being self-employed and she now calls herself a “mojo maker,” and as Miss Modish, she works as a writer & coach. She’s also half the team at The Maven Circle.
I really enjoyed this interview with Jena and I think you will, too! She’s a wealth of knowledge and shares some fantastic tips. I love the shots of her quirky interior! Oh, and be sure to check out Jena’s site for some mojo, naturally. ;)

Happy Friday! I’m happy to share a new DREAM JOB interview today. Enjoy!
I recently discovered Proud Mary Textiles and was amazed by the quality and story. “Proud Mary was started in 2008 when owner, Harper Poe returned from volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in South America. After falling deeply in love with the indigenous peoples and brightly colored textiles she decided to combine her passions into a sustainable design business promoting social change. By providing a global exploration of textiles, Proud Mary, supports and empowers global artisans and their families while celebrating their beautiful work!” (from Proud Mary’s website) …Isn’t that inspiring? read more »

Happy Friday! I’m excited to share a new DREAM JOB interview! Enjoy!
I first discovered Sasha Ritter when I discovered LMNOP : Let’s Make Nice on Purpose, a retail shop and blog based out of Newport Beach, California. Sasha served as the creative director and while the storefront is closing, I’m happy that their blog will continue and Sasha will still be up to amazing things. In addition to creative direction for LMNOP, Sasha also does freelance design, consultation, illustration & other creative projects and has a background in architecture. Talk about creative balance! Plus like I’ve already mentioned, I’m kind of obsessed with her photography (frequent updates here), aesthetic, and eye for detail. So I’m thrilled to have Sasha here today. Let’s learn more about her life and dream job!
