Happy Monday to you! How was your weekend? I’ve been feeling so busy lately, but I realized that I’m happiest when I’m busy…with lots going on and many plates spinning in the air. I guess the real trick is to enjoy the craziness and still make time for both rest and play…easy enough, right? ;)  Saturday involved some work, yoga, a trip to the plant store (always fun), and friends over for a Mexican dinner (more on that soon!). Then Sunday was spent at a slower pace…  some time in the kitchen, a brisk afternoon walk, and surprisingly a productive day of work!

To start the week, I’m so excited to host a giveaway! This giveaway is from the amazing Caitlin Wilson Textiles! Have you heard of her yet? Caitlin’s gorgeous home was featured on Design*Sponge last Fall. Not only that, but Caitlin is a phenomenal interior designer and textile designer. We have one of her pillows in our living room! You know I just love a bold pillow, and her designs are bright, fresh and just the right mix of modern and traditional. One lucky winner will receive the pillow cover of their choice!!*

indie wed + GIVEAWAY! (closed)

 

Have you heard of Indie Wed? It’s a bridal show and market that focuses on promoting and supporting small, independent (indie) businesses and couples with an independent spirit. It started in Chicago and is growing quickly with events in other cities, including Milwaukee next Thursday! I’m so excited to attend and meet local artists and like-minded creatives with an eye for detail and appreciation for handmade.

And thanks to my friend Monica of Monirose Bespoke Gowns (who will be at the show!), we’re giving away two sets of two tickets (a $20 value)! If you’re engaged, you won’t want to miss this! But you don’t have to be a bride to attend, as it’s also a handmade market! For anyone that appreciates event styling and design, I think you’ll love it. It would be a fun event to attend with a friend. There will be 60 indie vendors, live music, and food and drink tastings! Still unconvinced? Watch this adorable video. : )
