Happy Fall weekend! I’ve been trying to find some simple ways to enjoy Fall, even if it’s just collecting little pieces of nature from a walk. The colors of Fall are so inspiring! I have to admit this has been a tough week and I’m relieved it’s over. We are going to California for vacation next week and I can hardly wait! (I’ve got some great guest posters lined up while I’m gone!) Even though I’ve adjusted to Fall here, I have no problem jumping back into 70 degree weather- sign me up!
This weekend I’ve got plans to visit an apple orchard and flea market. I’m so excited to taste apples and hopefully find some treasures. I also plan on cooking delicious fresh recipes, which has turned into my favorite kind of relaxation. :)

Happy weekend! This week flew by and it dropped 20 degrees in one day so it officially feels like Fall! I even made my first apple recipe with most delicious local honey crisp apples. Yay!

This article on the Huffington Post really resonated with me. I’ve been on such a roller coaster lately, second guessing everything I’m doing and letting the pressure get to me. It’s nice to know that I’m not alone and there really is no “normal”.

Happy long weekend! (& goodbye August…) I feel like we should also be saying goodbye to summer, which makes me sad. However it’s still warm here, so I’m not saying goodbye yet!
This weekend my goal is to enjoy summer while we can! We’re thinking about a lakeshore bike ride and maybe even playing tennis or golf (yeah, it’s been a few years!). I got a lot done this week but I feel like I’ve been working on the computer non-stop. I’m so ready for a break and some fresh air!

Happy weekend! Yep, I’ve got parties on the brain. :) I’m finishing up some projects and getting ready for Sunday. Some things have definitely fallen to the wayside this week. I’ve got so many plates in the air that one of them was bound to fall this week. That’s what next week is for, right?
Also, I almost forgot to share! I was on Amy Moore’s blog this week participating in her ‘Objets de Valeur’ series. I’ve loved getting to know Amy and she is a seriously talented graphic designer. Happy weekend! My 18 month old nephew, brother and sister-in-law have been visiting and it’s been so much fun! We’re headed to the beach to enjoy this Friday afternoon! :)
